Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant hapus

Happy Saint David's Day! I know this was last Saturday but I couldn't blog the card in advance and the weekend just seemed to fly by! I'm not Welsh but the OH is, so I made this for him.

The daffodils are shrink plastic and were made a long time ago but never used ! The green borders are SU washi tape and the sentiment is hand written. (I decided to practise my calligraphy instead of using the computer!) Unfortunately Google let me down - I had to check the Welsh for "Happy Saint David's Day" as I wasn't sure I'd remembered it correctly - and it left both the word" Sant" out and the accent over the "w". I didn't think it looked right as I was writing it but never mind - he appreciated the thought! And that's all that matters!

Kathleen has reminded me that this fits the Less is More challenge (though not sure there is enough white space!)

Yellow and green is the LIM challenge this week, this would be perfect.

  6. I love your card, and it doesn't matter that you posted late, the card is beautiful for any time of year.

I also love it 'cause I'm Welsh :)

Had a looky through and love your work.
