Casology - Electric

I have followed the Casology challenge for some time but never entered for one reason or another. But when I saw the current challenge cue word was "electric" -
sorry no pun intended - I knew exactly what I wanted to use.

Last month's Simon Says Stamp kit was sitting by my desk, opened but unused and it had the perfect set of stamps in it. originally I was going to mat the layer onto yellow but it didn't look right, then I tried black, which was better, but preferred it with no mat. I should have stopped there but I doodled  some faux stitching round the edge and now I wish I hadn't. Sometimes less is very definitely the way to go! As Simon Says challenge is Anything Goes I'm also going to take this over there as well.

  1. Your faux stitched border is the perfect compliment to that stunning light bulb! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!

  2. Amazing card. The stitched border is so pretty and I love the light bulb. :) Thank you so much for joining us at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Blog! :)

  3. Apparently crafting minds think alike! Not only did we both use the same exact stamp set for our "CASology" card, but we even picked the same sentiment!! :) The very first day the challenge was released, I knew that I would be using this set, and had a feeling I might not be alone! I thought it was perfect for the theme! Good Luck !!

  4. Love that sentiment! PERFECT for that digi!

  5. Everything is PERFECT, love it

  6. I don't see any congratulations above, Sue, and I am dumbfounded! I think your card is really perfect for the electric challenge! It's a winner in my book! Hugs, Darnell
