Sneak Peak and NBUS#1

When Darnell launched her NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff) challenge I was just about to go on holiday so had to wait till I got back before I could take part. For the last week I have been thinking about it and this morning took myself off to the craft room, armed with a cup of coffee, to play. I looked at my VERY tidy desk, looked at my stamps and mountain of NBUS, then I rearranged my ink pads, looked out of the window and finally went back downstairs to see if inspiration would strike while I had lunch!

It must have been something in the pizza 'cos I had an idea! And this is almost what I saw in my head!  The sneak peaks are the gorgeous new Blackberry Bliss card and ink teamed with the new Mossy Meadow ink which you can order from me next week, when the new catty goes live.As the stamp is a two part one I also used Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz (retired) ink. As for my NBUS - the sneak peak schtuff 'cos its new, the sentiment stamp which is from Clarity stamps and the Stippled Blossoms stamp set which had never been opened before.I make that 5! As well as popping in to see Darnell  I'm also going to visit the Playground with a snippet - even though it's quite a big snippet - the piece of white card I stamped on.

  2. First of all, Sue, you karacked me up with your description of your morning in your tidy craft room! Too funny! I'm about to blow mine up and do a purge/organize. Now I know that if I lose my mojo juice because it is TOO tidy, I'll take a break and eat some pizza. Woot! That's prolly the best crafty tip in all of Blogland!

The resulting card is so moving. That beautiful quote shines in your design and your corner blooms accent it perfectly! Thank you so much for joining in my NBUS Challenge! I appreciate your support!! Enjoy the day! Hugs, Darnell

  4. This is a really beautifully done card...really like the sentiment.
I found your blog through Darnell's blog.
I was reading your bio and had to smile when you said that cardmaking has kind of taken over the house! I can so relate to that. In fact, I started making cards because I thought it would take up less space than my previous crafting adventures, such as crocheting, dressmaking, etc. Boy was I wrong! Smile
