A Little Octopus!

Those of you who read my blog on a regular basis will know that I am involved with the Octopus For a Preemie UK charity, (see the sidebar and HERE ) so when I sat his cute Lawn Fawn stamp I couldn't resist!

I cut out a stitched rectangle square from SU then  stamped him in black and clear embossed him. I  masked him off and stamped the bubbles in Versamark and embossed them in white. I sponged some Distress Oxides ink over the top. I coloured the little octopus with a pink Copic. The white and blue mats are both snippets so I'm off to the Playground to see what mischief everyone is up to.

  1. This is such a cute image and your Oxide background is gorgeous! xxx

  2. You've made a darling snippets card, Sue! You did a brilliant job with sponging his ocean background and taking the time to stamp and emboss all his bubbles!! I love the matting, too! Hugs, Darnell

  3. A super cute card and love the little Octopus. The Oxide background is lovely and I love the effects you can get with it and spraying water on it. Hugs, Carol S.xx

  4. Of course you couldn't resist it, so cute as well as being very relevant to you. Gorgeous background too.
