A Starry Christmas

It's time for the Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge. As always it is Anything Goes with the optional twist of Stars.

I used a NBUS stamp from Stampin Up which must be about three years old at least. It was not easy to get a good result even with the Misti. I think this was stamped about four times.

Lots of old stuff used her, a very old A5 card blank cut down to a square and some very old peel-offs as well.

I do hope you will be able to join in, after all it is good to build up the Christmas cards ahead of time so that there's not such a rush in December!

  2. Super card Sue, a really lovely star, I find some stamps are like that no matter how you stamp them. Have blamed the stamp pad but even after using a new one it is still the same.
    Great use of the gold.

  4. Beautiful card Sue and congrats for using an older NBUS! I wonder if you would take a large eraser to the stamp if it would work better. Or maybe put some versamark on it and then ink it up if that would help. I'd try it, what do you have to lose?! It's a beautiful stamp so it would be nice if it stamped better. Hugs, Brenda
