Christmas Card Class

The first card used the Make a Mitten stamp set and matching punch, together with a framelit. The colour combination was cherry cobbler and crumbcake.

Next we made use of the aperture left from cutting out the framelit.

The base card was naturals ivory and was stamped randomly with one of the small stamps in the Make a Mitten set. The sentiment was stamped on crumbcake in the aperture and the addition of some cherry cobbler tulle and crochet lace trim completed it.

The third card was naturals ivory with a trim using the scalloped edge border. The little reindeer are from the Joyous celebrations set, punched out with a circle punch and mounted on the small scallop circle punch.  Sentiment from Greetings of the Season set.

And finally a very quick card using naturals ivory card base, candlelight christmas dsp, and crumb cake seam binding

Card Candy

While Convention was on some of us in the Passionettes who weren't attending joined in some challenges. One of them was to produce some card candy, and here is what I came up with.

Since then I have turned  the rectangle into a card.

The two round ones will be gift tags. Iused the Make a Mitten stamp se tand matching punch and inked them with the  marker pens using cherry cobbler and marina mist. A white gel pen highlighted the hearts.
