Christmas Animals

Well here we are at Tuesday again and time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. This week the theme has been chosen by Helen and it is Christmas Animals. Actually I'm not sure whether a penguin can be classed as an animal - but that's what I've gone with!

I embossed a piece of white card with a brick EF then lightly sponged it with grey ink to add some definition, and cut a door way out of it to give the impression of an igloo. The penguin is from one of last year's stamp sets from SU which I never got round to using. A piece of twine and a tag completed the card.

  1. Oh this is absolutely gorgeous! Using the brick folder as an igloo is an inspired idea! xxx

  2. Cute little Penquin and just love your gorgeous card.

    Hugs Babs x

  3. He really looks the part standing outside his igloo. Embossing folder works for the brick effect. I think blogger just ate my last coment. ! hugs Mrs A.

  4. What a great card, love the use of the EF for the igloo, cute image especially fussy cut.

  5. Adorable penguin and a sweet card. Brilliant design. Hugs, Carol S.xx

  6. Who cares about the classification . . . it's a lovely card. xxx

  7. Think he could be a bird OR an animal. He looks adorable on this embossing - whatever he is! Love the little door shape in this brick wall. So cute. TFS & Hugs

  8. This is such an adorable card. The wee penguin is a sweetie and lovin the embossed background!
