Make My Monday - Use Sprays and Mists

Oops! Completely forgot I hadn't uploaded my card for this week's Make My Monday challenge, even though I'd made it last week. My excuse is that I've been a bit busy settling in my two new family members. Here they are just after I had collected them from their foster home.

Mum and daughter - Cleo and Lily!
Anyway onto the card. I rarely use sprays or mists - not really my "thing". However I had some pieces of card that I had been experimenting with using Brushos and sprays. I found quite a pretty blue one and cut a circle out of it to back the diecut bauble.

The die was a freebie on a magazine. I used the Ornamental Pine to stamp some branches for the bauble to hang from and used some gold baker's twine to hang it.I'm afraif the shimmer on the bauble is not showing up in the photo - I've tried all sorts of angles and none of them were any better!

Make My Monday - Glitter

It's time for a new challenge at Make My Monday. These Mondays seem to come round very fast! This week the challenge is to use glitter - easy peasy at this time of year!

I decided to use my new Ornamental Pine set. I inked up the stem and cones with Chocolate chip amd the needles with Versamark, then heat embossed the needles with some WOW embossing powder in Frosted Fir, which is really sparkly IRL. I added some Dazzling Details to the cones as well. In my snippets box I had the perfect piece of brown glitter paper which I think I bought at The Crafty Cow, which sadly has been closed for a long time now.

Do go and visit the rest of the DT to see what they have made.
