The Merry Monday challenge is a sketch this week. This is what I have made using some retired DSP and a retired stamp Pines and Poinsettias - one which I didn't use enough. Still not sure whether I like the finished card though!

I used some paper that was left over from making yesterday's mini book to make this simple card. The paper was mounted on Cherry Cobbler card again from yesterday's leftovers. But the dotted band was made from the lovely new Core'dinations cardstock - embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder then distressed with the new Stampin' Sanding System. The stamp is one of last year's that I really like - Pines and Poinsettias.

Favourite Christmas Card
This became my favourite card that I made this year and I made quite a few of them. It was so simple and quick to make and I think looked quite elegant. I used the new gold shimmer card from SU which is gorgeous, Holly Berry DSP and the Pines and Poinsettias stamp set which was coloured with markers. The stamped image was mounted onto real red card and the final touch was a dusting of glitter on the fir cones.

Pines and Poinsettias "CASed"
This is an almost totally cased card from SU's Impressions for December. The only differences are the faux stitching and a gliitered flower instead of a button. I'm really not a big fan of buttons on cards! The stamp set was Pines and Poinsettias and the paper is the Holly Berry DSP. Base card is Crumb Cake.
