Digitally Sweet Challenge# 121 - Favourite Shape

Hi and welcome to a new year and a new challenge on Digitally Sweet. This week the challenge is "My Favourite Shape" and we are sponsored once again by Stitchy Bear. I have used the Calla Lily set which included papers and the lovely digi stamp.

I really didn't need to do much to create a pretty page.I used a circle as my  shape and used one of the papers as a backing for the digistamp. I was going to paper piece or colour but then decided to just change the line colour and add a shadow to it. Another of the papers for the background and a couple of embellishments and my card was finished. As ever I used Craft Artist 2 to create the card and the embelishments were from some Daisy Trail kits.Do head over to the challenge blog to see what shapes the rest of the team have used.

Digitally Sweet Challenge #119

Not long now till the big day! Hope you're all ready for it. This week the challenge at Digitally Sweet is "Anything Goes with the added twist of snowflakes" Our sponsor is Stitchy Bear and I have used a christmas paper pack from Panda Bear designs.

The photos were my back garden in 2010 - hope we don't get as much snow this year! Somehow I think it is just going to be grey and wet! The bottom one is a pond which is about 12" off the ground!!
This will be last post till January. I'm taking a bit of time to be with family. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Digitally Sweet Challenge #109 - Sport

The challenge this week at Digitally Sweet is Sport and the sponsor Stitchy Bear provided some papers and images to work with.

I chose to use some of the papers to create a scrapbook page. The photo is one of my son enjoying one of his days at the Olympic Park. Do go and visit the rest of the DT for some more inspiration.

Digitally Sweet - Rock it Out!

Welcome to this week's challenge at Digitally Sweet where the theme is "Rock it Out!" We are sponsored once again by Stitchy Bear who provided us with some great images and papers to work with. When I went to upload my first attempt it looked so very similar to Karen's that I changed some of the papers and this is the result.
 Floppe Latte "Music of Love"
Panda Bear Designs "Sweet Melodies"

But then I thought I'd do another quick one using a different image and papers.  This paper reminded me of a photoframe and the colouring looked a bit like those pictures you used to be able to buy that were etched on metal - so that is the route I took.

 Panda Bear Designs "Sweet Melodies"
My Heart Pieces "Oh Boy"

So this week you've got twofer one!

Digitally Sweet Challenge #102 - For the Guys

Well here we are at Friday again - these weeks are really going fast! A new challenge at Digitally Sweet and it's "For the Guys" ! The sponsor is Stitchy Bear who supplied this great image. I decided to leave it uncoloured. It also reminded me of a movie poster so I went with that theme.

The elements used are from the Daisytrail "At the Movies" digikit and as (almost) always it was created in Craft Artist 2.

Digitally Sweet Challenge #98 - Embellish it up!

Here we are at Friday again which means it's time for a new challenge over at Digitally Sweet. The theme this week is "Embellish it up" and we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear.

I have used their Flights of Fantasy image and the background is from BBKakes Nightsky pack. The other embellishments are from various digikits and the whole thing was created in Craft Artist 2. Short and sweet post from me today as not feeling 100%.

Digitally Sweet Chalenge # 89 - Babies

Welcome to another week at Digitally Sweet and after Mothers a couple of weeks ago we have Babies this week!  We are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet who provided some lovely images and papers to work with. The one I chose to use is called A Mother's Love by Delicious Doodles and seems to have been very popular with the DT!

I also used one of the papers from The Sweet Things pack by Panda Bear Designs which had soft diagonal pastel stripes. When I changed the colour to blue though the stripes disappeared! I used the  main image in the background as well but faded it right out. For the focal point  I used the gradient maps tool in Craft Artist 2 as I didn't want to colour the image in because I liked it as it was, just needed to change the colour of fthe lines.

Digitally Sweet Challeng #85

This week the challenge at Digitally Sweet is Bingo! and we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear.

I used the middle vertical line and my "free" square I used for the butterfly. As always I used Craft Artist to create the project. The papers are  Panda Bear Designs   Butterfly Paper Pack and the main image is Delicious Doodles - Lillith. She seems to have been very popular with my fellow DT members as well.

Unfortunately I have no idea how I coloured her! I took the image into the photolab part of CA and played around with filters and special effects and when I got this I stopped as I rather liked it. I'm going to have to play again and see if I can achieve the same result.  If I manage it I'll edit this post to tell you.!

Digitally Sweet Challenge #81 - Add a Frame

Gosh it's Friday again already - where does the time go? This week at Digitally Sweet we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear, Digital Stamp Outlet.  I chose to use Fuschia by Coosty Creations.

The set consists of a digistamp and papers.  I have used three of the papers to make my card. The other elements and the frame were from various  digikits I own.  I spent quite a lot of time playing around with this. My original idea was to have a window frame round the fuschia but just couldn't get it to work.  Please go and look at some more inspiration from my fellow DT members, We also have two new DT members so please pop over and welcome Dorothy and Carmen.
