Superhero Twins!

Those of you who have been reading my blog for some time will know that my neighbours have twin boys. Unbelievably they have just celebrated their 5th birthday and will shortly be moving to a bigger house.

These are the cards I made for them this year. Both were created with Craft Artist with the superheroes fussy cut and attached with a springy thing. I'm sure there is a technical term for them!

Superheroes at Cardz 4 Guyz

Well we still have lots of unpacking and things to put awaybut we are slowly getting there. Trying to get the contents of two houses into one is a nightmare. The charity shops are doing very well out of us. The craft room is sorted enough for me to be able to use it, the challenge being finding the things I want to use! It was really enjoyable being able to spend a day doing DT cards - I have missed being able to play.

Anyway the new challenge at Cardz for Guyz is Superheroes which taxed me a bit as I had nothing suitable to use, so went searching for a digistamp and found this one at Dr Digi's.

I know I've used  Superman colours when he's really based on Batman, but I'm calling it artistic licence! Do hope you can join in!

A Superhero!!

I was a bit stuck for ideas for a card for my grandson who will reach the ripe old age of 4 next week. Then while I was looking through some digikits for something else I realised I had the perfect kit to make a card for him It's from Daisy Trail and called Comic Book, and he's into superheroes at the moment, sometimes Batman and sometimes Superman!!

So this is what I came up with. I printed everything out on the base card the printed it all again so that I could decoupage the pieces.

 

 I hope he likes it. It went in the mail this morning, but I know it's OK to show on here as he doesn't read my blog!! Forgot to satthat of course I created it in Craft Artist.
