Christmas Penguins

I have been doing some upcycling for this card. When I saw that the challenge at Winter Wonderland was "Penguins" I had just come across this piece of wrapping paper that I had saved from a present last year.

I matted it onto a piece of red card thendiecut the sentiment and its frame three times to make it stand out more, It was a bit fiddly to glue the layers together.

Rudolph Day - March 2020

It's time for another Christmas card for Rudolph Day. I actually made these some time ago for another challenge and then never used them.

The images are from a Polkadoodles CD that printed all of them on one sheet, Rather than just use one and store the other two I was a good girl and made three cards.

They just had different finishing touches.

And here they are all together.

I do hope you are all keeping safe and well in these difficult times. I'm just grateful that I have a number of hobbies to keep me occupied.

Christmas Animals

Well here we are at Tuesday again and time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. This week the theme has been chosen by Helen and it is Christmas Animals. Actually I'm not sure whether a penguin can be classed as an animal - but that's what I've gone with!

I embossed a piece of white card with a brick EF then lightly sponged it with grey ink to add some definition, and cut a door way out of it to give the impression of an igloo. The penguin is from one of last year's stamp sets from SU which I never got round to using. A piece of twine and a tag completed the card.
