Usually when I use these stamps I use dark colours but for this I picked three bright colours, and overlapped them slightly. The sentiment is from Visible Image and seemed quite appropriate for this strange time!

Splats!
The current challenge at Less is More is to use scribbles splats and drips. As I had the Gorgeous Grunge set of stamps on my desk from another project I decided to make a card for the challenge.

Sarntangled Art Journalling!
I finally managed to find a few minutes to have a play with my new Sarntangle stamps which arrived yesterday. Sarn has produced a limited run of stamps of her super tangles - if you're interested pop over and see if she has any left! i think you need sunglasses for this though!
I liberally sprinkled scarlet, lemon and yellow brushos on my page then sprinkled with water - quite a lot actually, mopped some of it up with kitchen towel then dried with a heat gun - I didn't have time to wait for it to dry naturally, and added a touch of Worn Lipstick distress ink to the edges. Then set to with the stamps and some additions of SU's Gorgeous Grunge stamps. I coloured some of the dangles in with alcohol pens to give a bit of depth.

The Male Room - Colour Challenge
The challenge in The Male Room this week is a colour one. The colours to be used are green, blue and brown. It took me a while to decide what to use for this and eventually decided the Clockworks set would be good. However I don't own it so MDS to the rescue! After I had printed the main image in white card I added some splotches with the Gorgeous Grunge set. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners set and cut with the matching framelit. The blue mount for the banner was made by drawing round the outside of the framelit and cutting out by hand. Some linen thead and a blue mat completed the card.
Don't forget to pop over to the challenge to see more inspiration from my fellow design team members.

Sparkly Grunge or Grungy Sparkle? on Merry Monday #83
Merry Monday this week has this lovely inspiration picture and the theme is to use stripes. red, chocolate and stars or hearts.
Red and chocolate and stripes I could do but no Christmas hearts and horrors no Christmas star either. I'm still waiting for the large stamp from Stampin' Up to come - apparently it will be delivered Monday - it's been out of stock for some time - but that is too late for the challenge. So I had a rummage and found a sheet of freebie stamps from a magazine and one of them was a star. It had a sort of sketchy, grungy look to the edge so my mind went to the Gorgeous Grunge stamps from SU which still hadn't seen any ink.
So this is what I eventually came up with. It looked better in my mind than it does in reality! The grungy stripes were stamped in red and chocolate and the star in red. The bow is from a memory box die. Then I decided there was too much white space so I added the three small stars, then some red glitter glue to the edge of the large star! Still not entirely happy with it and the photo is not the best either! the windowsill was the only place I could find to take it as everywhere else was covered in things from the hall as I've had the decorators in. Slowly putting everything back in its rightful place now.
