I used a Little Claire stamp that was one of their monthly kits when they did them, and coloured it with Promarkers. The fur trim had been glittered with Stickles and the glitter turned blue, which was a bit serendipitous!I'm looking forward to seeing all your ideas for a Winter Birthday.

Relax with Cardz for Guyz!
Time for a new challenge at Cardz for Guyz who want you to Relax! There has been quite a lot of relaxing in this house as the heat and I don't really get on..Today (Sunday) it is cooler and very wet, so silly hubby decided to do some pruning in the garden!!
I have used a stamp from Little Claire and coloured it with Copics to match the colours in my background paper. I edged the diecut by running the chisel end of the blue pen around the edge. I do hope you'll be able to join in with us.

For a Little Girl .......
......is the new challenge at Cardz for Galz. Now having only sons and grandsons I find these a definite challenge. I dug out an old Little Claire stamp from when they did their monthly card kits, then went on a hunt for some girly paper from my stash.
I coloured the stamped image with copics and diecut it into an oval. The flowers were a last minute addition as it looked too naked! All the turquoise flowers are the same card but it has a slight sheen to it, so they look a bit odd in the photo.

Sugar and Spice at Make My Monday.
The challenge at Make My Monday has been chosen by Sian and is Sugar (sweet and cute) and Spice (hot and spicy). the choice is yours! I went for sugar - mainly because I don't get a lot of opportunity to use my cute stamps. They don't go down very well with grown up sons.
The stamp I used is from Little Claire, in the days when they ran a monthly club. I think I've only used it to make the club card, so it was a good opportunity to ink it up again.I've coloured it with Copics in colours to go with the paper which is out of my large stash of 6 x 6 papers.

April Showers at Make My Monday
It's time for a new challenge at Make My Monday. This week we want to see makes with a theme of April Showers. I'm afraid I'm a bit late with entry and I must apologise for the photo. I've taken it about half a dozen times and this is the best I could get. It looks very washed out, but IRL it does look better - honest!
The stampis from Little Claire, the paper from my stash of 6 x 6 - no idea what make as it was just lying loose in the box. Do pop over and visit the rest of the team to see what they have made.

Less is More - Colour Challenge
Less is More have a
"Colour Challenge
this week we have chosen the wonderful the Spring colours of
YELLOW and GREEN "
For a change I'm not joining in right at the last minute! I had this image stamped out on my desk left over from making a ympathy card a few months ago, so I decided to make another one to have to hand - just in case. This is one of my "go to" stamps for sympathy cards.

It's from Little Claire Designs and was one of their monthly kit stamps a couple of years ago. I used a stitched square die from L'il Inkers and coloured it with SU's blendabilities.

Casology - Mini and LIM 213
I'm just squeezing in at the last minute to Casology where the theme is Mini. On Friday I went to the Make-It Show at Farnborough and amongst the goodies I brought home were three dinkie stamps from Little Claire, even better they were free with some paper stacks I bought! So here is a mini card - it only measures 10.5cm x 10.5 cms with a mini stamp!
I am also entering this to Less Is More where the ladies want us to make a card depicting something that makes us happy. Well my two cats do! I am also going to pay another visit to the Playground as its such a nice spring day here!

Make My Monday - Sport
It is my turn to choose the theme at Make My Monday this week and for some reason I chose Sport!!
But at least it gave the chance to use this Little Claire Designs stamp again which I think is called Man Tree. The sentiment stamp is also one of theirs. I even managed to use some paper from a very old Hot off The Press pad, which I think I bought from QVC when I first started making cards. Be sure to have a look at what my fellow DT members made - some great inspiration there.

Less is More - Winter Blues
It's a long time since I entered a Less is More challenge! The theme this week is Winter Blues! With the dreadful weather we've all been having it seems to be a bit too appropriate!
With that in mind I used a more spring like stamp. It is the current monthly club stamp from Little Claire's Designs. I decided not to colour it in but just use it stamped in Midnight Muse. I was trying to get the look of a Delft tile and have to say I'm quite pleased with the result. The mat was cut using a L'il Inkers die which has the effect of faux stitching round the edge, and the mounted on a scrap of Midnight Muse card. The ribbon was also a snippet- in fact it came off a Pandora gift bag and was the perfect colour match. If you peel it off and turn it over you will see it has Pandora printed across it! Now you can guess what one of my Christmas presents was! So I'm popping across to the Pixies Snippets playground to see what everyone is up to and I'm also going to enter this into Papertake Weekly's challenge which this week is Anything Goes!

Merry Monday #82, Dynamic Duos and a Sweet Polar Bear!
Merry Monday want red, aqua, white and circles(!!) and Dynamic Duos want Real Red and Bermuda Bay. I wanted to ink up this sweet polar bear stamp from Little Claire Designs so thought just colouring the scarves in these bright colours would work quite well. The stamp also has the star in it but I had to lose that when I cut the circle, so added a sparkly die cut one instead. Hope that doesn't break the DD rules! I did manage to get plenty of circles in though - even making the card base a scalloped circle! The sentiment is also from Little Claire - but a different set and not sure which one now!
I'm also linking this to Pixies Snippets Playground as the star and Bermuda Bay mats were left over from this card.

I Saw Three Ships......
Merry Monday is asking for a carol themed card this week. So here is mine using a brand new stamp set (NBUS!) from Little Claire Designs.
I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in gold, then added just a little bit of colour to the boats using my markers. The paper was an old piece of, I think, Papermania and the ribbon came out of my scraps box.

Joy, Hope and Wonder!
When I saw this stamp from Little Claire I just had to have it! It's so simple but I think it's a lovely image (maybe dog lovers wouldn't like it so much!)
I gave it a really simple treatment - stamped in black and the bauble filled with red glitter glue. Instead of giving it a red glitter mat I cut a frame with Spellbinders rectangles, much easier than trying to stick it to glitter card! I liked it so much I made another!

Happy Birthday Jen!
Less is More this week is asking for a birthday card for Jen one of the designers. Apparently she would like to see cats, butterflies or fish if she made herself a card.
I managed to incorporate a cat and butterflies ( A fairly recent club stamp from Little Claire) but not the fish ------yet. I'm sure I must have a stamp with a fish and a cat then how easy would it be to add a butterfly?
Happy Birthday Jen - hope you're enjoying Istanbul.

Less is More week 120
I have been a bit busy for the last couple of weeks and haven't managed to do any challenges, so this week I was determined to try and find time to do at least one! And finally found time today to escape to my craft room. The challenge at Less is More this week is a theme - to use a cat or dog in your card. My first thought was" do I have any cat or dog stamps " and had more than I thought! I decided to use this one, Cupcake Tree from Little Claire even though the cat is only a small part of it.
I see Blogger hasn't speeded up while I've been away - I had time to make acup of tea while the photo was uploading!

Seize the Birthday - Masculine
This week it is the turn for a masculine card using this sketch at Seize the Birthday.
I have used Little Claire Designs Man Tree stamp. It is coloured with promarkers. I lightly sponged Pool Party ink for the sky and Old Olive for the grass. I think that has come out a bit too dark!. the paper is from Stampin' Up as well but is now retired. base card is Pool Party as well.

Seize the Birthday No 7
This week the challenge is for a feminine card using this sketch.
I'm sorry the photo is rubbish but it was the best of a very bad bunch! I'm seriously thinking of either making or buying a photo box to see if I can get better results!

Fancy Fold Card
At card club last week we made a fancy fold card that had been one of the projects on the Little Claire blog. We used their January club stamp and this is what I ended up with.

Christmas Geese
I love these geese which are part of a stamp set called The Magic of Christmas from Little Claire and thought they were just perfect for the challenge at Merry Monday, which is birds, and then realised it would also fit in well with the sketch challenge at Make it Monday.
And I've finished it just in time! Phew!

Less is More - Friends
This week at Less is More the challenge is Friends. I used this lovely stamp from Little Claire's Designs range Lovely Jubblies. The sentiment is from Woodware. I added two scored lines above and below the image but they are not very easy to see. I photographed this card every which way you could think of to try and get them to show up! This was the best I got!

Less is More - Week 97
Christmas cards made, written and posted, cakes made and ready for icing, tree up and decorated so time to look at entering some challenges again. So my first one is Less is More where the theme is "All in a Row". I had the December kit from Little Claire sitting on my desk as I have not yet had time to make it and the stamp set was just perfect for this!
PS finally got a better image by scanning - don't like this very gloomy weather!
I'm sorry it's not a very good photo - taken with the lights on as it was such a dull day here yesterday ( and it was late afternoon!) Believe i tor not the card is white! I put two score lines above and below the image, coloured with marker pens and sponged a little bit of blue chalk ink to give an impression of sky. I'll try and get a better photo!
