Circles for Twofer

This month's challenge at Twofer is Circles or Bubbles. After considerable thought I decided to use a stamp from a Happy Little Stampers set.  I had thought Id stamp it randomly across the card and turn it into flowers, but once I'd stamped a few in orange and blue I decided to leave it as a random row across the card, making it ideal for a male card.

I knew I was going to use it as a sun for my second card, but had to choose something to go with it.  I fished out this stamp set that was a freebie from a magazine last year I think and gave it a very gentle watercolour wash.

And it was one layer, which used to terrify me! Hopefully the sun is going to show its face again here this week - at least the forecast says it will - it's supposed to be reaching 30 degrees on Wednesday! I’m also sharing the second card with Addicted to CAS - One Layer

Round and Round

It's time for another new challenge at Make My Monday and Dawn has challenged us to use shapes on our cards.

I've used my go-to stamp for this - Mix Mash from Happy Little Stampers, no longer available. When I first saw the set I didn't think I would use it much but I actually find it very useful!

Go see what other shapes the DT have used and maybe join in the fun as well.

Going Round in Circles!

Welcome to the new challenge at Make My Monday. This time we want you to use circles on your card.
I used some old SU cardstock Natural White to make a one layer card, but I messed up the stamping so had to put the sentiment on a strip of card to cover the boo boo! The stamp set is Mix Mash from Happy Little Stampers, sadly no longer available.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the DTs fabulous makes.

How to use up scraps!

I made this after seeing a similar card in a magazine. It is made from circles of scrap paper fastened together with a brad, strips of card for the stalks and finished with a ribbon and bow.
