Digitally Sweet Challenge #119

Not long now till the big day! Hope you're all ready for it. This week the challenge at Digitally Sweet is "Anything Goes with the added twist of snowflakes" Our sponsor is Stitchy Bear and I have used a christmas paper pack from Panda Bear designs.

The photos were my back garden in 2010 - hope we don't get as much snow this year! Somehow I think it is just going to be grey and wet! The bottom one is a pond which is about 12" off the ground!!
This will be last post till January. I'm taking a bit of time to be with family. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Digitally Sweet Chalenge # 89 - Babies

Welcome to another week at Digitally Sweet and after Mothers a couple of weeks ago we have Babies this week!  We are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet who provided some lovely images and papers to work with. The one I chose to use is called A Mother's Love by Delicious Doodles and seems to have been very popular with the DT!

I also used one of the papers from The Sweet Things pack by Panda Bear Designs which had soft diagonal pastel stripes. When I changed the colour to blue though the stripes disappeared! I used the  main image in the background as well but faded it right out. For the focal point  I used the gradient maps tool in Craft Artist 2 as I didn't want to colour the image in because I liked it as it was, just needed to change the colour of fthe lines.

Digitally Sweet Challeng #85

This week the challenge at Digitally Sweet is Bingo! and we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear.

I used the middle vertical line and my "free" square I used for the butterfly. As always I used Craft Artist to create the project. The papers are  Panda Bear Designs   Butterfly Paper Pack and the main image is Delicious Doodles - Lillith. She seems to have been very popular with my fellow DT members as well.

Unfortunately I have no idea how I coloured her! I took the image into the photolab part of CA and played around with filters and special effects and when I got this I stopped as I rather liked it. I'm going to have to play again and see if I can achieve the same result.  If I manage it I'll edit this post to tell you.!
