Mum and daughter - Cleo and Lily!
Anyway onto the card. I rarely use sprays or mists - not really my "thing". However I had some pieces of card that I had been experimenting with using Brushos and sprays. I found quite a pretty blue one and cut a circle out of it to back the diecut bauble. The die was a freebie on a magazine. I used the Ornamental Pine to stamp some branches for the bauble to hang from and used some gold baker's twine to hang it.I'm afraif the shimmer on the bauble is not showing up in the photo - I've tried all sorts of angles and none of them were any better!
Your bauble is beautiful hanging from the pine! It's hard to capture shine on these cards! My cards are sitting out on the table and I've started to match them up to my list. Slow going.
ReplyDeleteElegant and oh, so pretty!! Love the bauble!!!
ReplyDeleteA lovely card Sue and a clever idea to use a misted panel behind the bauble too.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you new fur babies are settling in.

A beautiful card Sue, beautiful fur babies too - they are going to have fun with the baubles this Christmas! - Jacqueline xx
ReplyDeleteI think this is a lovely way to try something you don't usually use , like mists,by putting it behind the bauble shape - it looks great!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, we all have massive imaginations so we can imagine all the beautiful shimmer and sparkle which is impossible to photograph! I think this is really beautiful, Sue!
ReplyDeleteI recently succumbed to the pull of the Brushos and have a box of them waiting unopened until after the holidays so I can have a play. The results, like for your bauble, just delight the heck out of me and I can't wait!! Hugs, Darnell
A beautiful card Sue. Love the gold accents!
ReplyDeleteI love this shiny ornament hanging from the pine branch. The gold is so pretty and the twine is perfect with it.
