Joyful Christmas

I'm still in Christmas card making mode but I think I've almost got enough now for this year plus a few spares  - just in case!

I think this stamp set has to be one of my favourites out of this years catalogue. I made this one a little while ago. I stamped the poinsettia in Versamark onto vellum twice, then heat embossed it with white powder. Fussy cut the whole of one and the inner part of the second one and layered them up. The sentiment was also stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in white. The centre of the flower  was filled with Dazzling Details

A Green Joyful Christmas

I wasn't going to get this stamp set as I already have a couple of poinsettia stamps (non SU!). But I gave in after seeing lots of samples around blogland.

This one is super easy and I can see me making it in a variety of colours. It's nice to have something quick to make that still looks good when you have a lot to make! This one was just stamped in Old Olive but I intend to do some with heat embossing as well. Think gold and silver! I added some rhinestones to the centre for a bit of sparkle, and to make them match I coloured them with a green alcohol marker.
