Hello bloggers from a bitterly cold Hampshire! The wind is biting and it's trying to snow! But in here it's warm and cosy with the lovely smell of fresh bread from the breadmaker for my lunch! Anway on to cards. I liked the way my last one turned out with the embossing down the side so did another, this time for the Dynamic Duos challenge.
The colour scheme is to use Pool Party and Lucky Limeade
and this is what I came up with,
but think I might have gone a little overboard with the raindrops! I scored two lines down the centre to separate the embossing from the stamping. I added a tailored bow to the ribbon as I find it difficult to tye a decent one with the scallopped edging and the other side is plain as well.
Cardstock: Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
Stamp Set: rain or Shine
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Pool Party,
DSP: Pool Party
Other: Scallop Dots Ribbon Old Olive(nearest there is to Lucky Limeade) non -SU embossing folder
This is a lovely card. I like the way you used the colors and the image and sentiment you chose. Your tailored ribbon ir perfect. Thank you for joining us at Dynamic Duos. ;-)

What a super sweet card. I love the rain..I don't think there are too many at all. Thanks for playing along with us this week at Dynamic Duos.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the DD colors! Love all the raindrops. That's how it rains here. We get sprinkles and down the road it's pouring. I love that tailored bow. I need to remember that.
ReplyDeleteI like the rain, it creates a lovely texture, and love lots of polka dots too! Thank you for sharing your card with us this week at Dynamic Duos.
