Lime and Black

The challenge at Less is More this week is a colour one and Chrissie and Jen have chosen Lime and Black.

I used Lucky Limeade card and paper but it doesn't look very lime in the photo. The sentiment is from Bring on the Cake. This particular stamp is becoming a firm favourite as I like the script. The flowers are not Stampin' Up! they are a Spellbinders die and I cut them from a snippet so will take this to the playground as well Actually the black mat was also a large snippet - if you can have a large one! I added some faux stitching round the edge but wish I hadn't now as I don't think it adds anything!

  1. This is such a pretty card with those great colors and fun polka dots! I love the fonts on that sentiment too!

  2. Love this card Sue! To my mind, the remains when you cut into a sheet of paper or card class as a snippet! It's perfect for the LIM challenge - and am sooo with you about the difficulties of taking photos of lime green. But, I know how zingy the colour is IRL and this is great.

  3. A very pretty card. I hate how photos can change the colours but at least you don't have shadows which is usually my problem. Fiona x
