Anyway while sorting out I came across this one that I hadn't blogged.
It uses the Wildflower Meadow stamp and matching embossing folder. The colours are Strawberry Slush, Gumball Green and Island Indigo for the bird.

ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty, Sue! I love the water color effect you have going on!! Good for you for doing all that busy work. When I used to make cards to sell at a local boutique, I would get on a roll and do tens of card fronts and then, ugh, the drudgery was doing the mounting and the inserts, bagging, and pricing. Every time I would say to myself, "Self, don't do this again. When you make a front, make the whole thing." But then I wouldn't heed my own advice ...
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have a local store to sell your cards, or a charity for donating, check online. There is always Operation Write Home and probably other places. Oh, and I have donated cards to a couple of senior centers. They LOVE them!!
Sorry Di I managed to remove your comment by mistake - have emailed you!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
ReplyDeleteIt would be wonderful if you had some cards to donate, I display them in my local hairdressers and all the money is donated to the RNLI. As you may of seen from my blog, combined overall we have raised £305!
Your cards are lovely and l see you are a SU demonstrator, l was until earlier this year. I LOVE their goodies and you clearly know how to use them to their best.
If you would like to donate some cards please drop me an email and l will give you my home address.
Thanks again :)
So pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! The colors are lovely. I love that you are donating some cards. I remember reading on someone's blog recently that they were donating birthday cards to a battered woman and children's shelter so that when one of the women or kids staying there had a birthday they could get a special card signed by everyone. Just thought I'd mention that since you said you were looking for places to give them to.
ReplyDeleteBest crafty wishes!
Amber
