Lots of punching and inking! The "6" I cut on the Cricut three times and stuck them together to raise it up. The bricks were two layers then raised up on dimensionals. I used Real Red inked with Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Yellow inked with Crushed Curry. All snippets! The blue was also a scrap from my box but is non SU as they don't do a suitable blue but the inking was Midnight Muse.
The inside I created on the computer (including the bricks!) I just hope he likes it, but think he might be more interested in the present! As I used lots of snippets I'm going to take it to Pixie's Snippets Playground and see what the playmates are up to while teacher's away!

What a fantastic card for a little boy! Does his gift contain Legos? Aren't grandsons special?
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card Sue, I bet it goes down really well - only marginally behind the real Lego :) A perfect card for a little boy - I always struggle with those but you totally cracked it!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Di xx
This is perfect, he will love it x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little boys card. The Lego look real!
ReplyDeleteMy grandson is Lego mad too. He just packed up his Thomas the train (which had miles of tracks and bridges and siding etc) and now plays with Lego for hours.
