Christmas Banner

Well cards all written and ready to post, just need to take out a mortgage to pay for the stamps :)

I made this Christmas banner using the kit in the current seasonal catalogue. I had a couple of false starts as they suggest spritzing through the stencils to get the patterns and letters on the banner. But all I got was a mess! So a quick trip to You Tube for some  guidance and the answer was to sponge the ink on using the sponge daubers. A much better result although the dauber was only fit for the bin when I'd finished! Here is a closer look.

It was a bit difficult to photo as I haven't got it hanging yet. I'm afraid I don't like my decorations up too early. As a child we always did the tree on Christmas Eve and I think that habit lingers - although I don't wait quite that long!!

I'm currently using the rest of the kit to make one in Cherry Cobbler and Pistachio Pudding for a friend - so watch this space!
You can order from my online shop at anytime  or email  if you prefer the personal touch .
