I decided to use the beautiful Swallowtail stamp. It's a big stamp but still quite versatile. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder then sponged colours over it and cut it out. The colours I chose went perfectly with the now retired Watercolour Wonder paper. A frame cut out of Crisp Canteloupe completed my card. To give it dimension I left one wing free.

Wow that's a huge butterfly!! Love the summery colours. Hugs, Carol S.xx
ReplyDeleteIt is a big stamp - has real impact - and the sponging over the white embossing is really stunning.
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, just saw your link over at Inkspired to Stamp, so followed it with the intention of joining as a new follower. Found out I already followed you! Love the way you've used this SU stamp. It's so pretty, but being as large as it is, sometimes difficult for me to use it. Your design is wonderful and really shows off the butterfly to a stunning success. Love the colorways you selected for this pretty stamp. TFS & Happy wkend.
