Rudolph Day!

It's the first  Rudolph Day of the year over at Scrappymo's blog and the first time it has been hosted there as well, Sarn having retired from running the challenge at the end of last year. Now in the ast I haven't joined in toll later in the  year but thought I'd start early this year to support the challenge in its new home. the rules are simple - make a Christmas card - just one!
Here's mine:

I even managed to use some old stash up and snippets too! I've had the decoupage for ever, the papers were a pad I bought in 2013 and never used, so I was extravagant and used a whole sheet! the green mat was the snippet, the sentiment came with the decoupage but I recoloured it with Copics. So I'm also going to head over to Pixies Snippet Playground  - there's rumours of a horse being there last week so must see if it's still there(lol), and as I've completey covered the card front with paper I'm going to join in with Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper challenge.

As you can see I also had some help sorting out my snippet box!

  1. Super card there Sue - fancy you only just getting round to using that lovely backing paper! Picked the green out perfectly and love the jolyy Santa surrounded by tinsel/glitter.

Cute little helper there too :)

The horse is in hiding I think - all quiet here right now!

  3. Hi Sue, been a while since I popped in, so when I saw your card at Rudy Day, and it was an even number (which is my responsibility for this first challenge!), I was happy to see a familiar face. Love the background on this pretty card and how super that you were able to use up some of your snippets & VOS too. Like the glitter frame around Santa. Great idea to color your sentiment to match your other supplies. Great card. TFS & hope you'll join in each month. Hugs
