Chalkboard Club Card

First of all a warm welcome to my new followers who may or may not have come from my other blog! I sometimes find it difficult to tell who has just joined me as blogger seems to add you  a bit randomly! So if you are new please leave a comment so I can welcome you properly!

At  a recent card club evening we made this card using the new chalkboard cardstock from Stampin' Up! together with the new chalk ink.
The card base is Calypso Coral, the paper is from the Stacked With Love stack  and the stamp set is Amazing Birthday. A snippet of Calypso Coral ribbon finished it off.

  5. All the pretty colors & that wonderful chalkboard sentiment took this CAS right over the top. Love it!! Will have to look for the chalk ink too. I have the SU chalk pens, is that what this is, or is there an ink pad too? Thanks for the advice on not adding a sentiment to the CCC. Several folks have said the same, and I was rather leaning that way myself! TFS & Hope your V. Day was wonderful.

  7. Oh, how I wish I could "unsee" your card, Sue! Darn, it is so very gorgeous and now, of course, I MUST have that paper and ink! I like the chalkboard look, but I've never been able to execute it well, so this takes the anxiety out of it!! You are a bad girl to enable me this way!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell

  8. Love the soft look of the hearts and the beautiful coral. It looks like real chalk on a blackboard. Great card.
