Rudolph Day - June

I made this card some time ago but have never blogged it. So Rudolph Day is the perfect time to do it.

It was made with some very old decoupage and papers that have been in my stash for ages. The edge of the scallop circle is glittered although it is not showing up very well in the photo. I shall also pop across to the playground as the red was out of the snippets box.

Roy Update!

He was transferred on Tuesday to the neurorehab unit in Woking so everything was looking good. That is until he decided to be Mr Independenceand tried to stand on his own and fell cutting his head. It required stitching so they sent him to hospital in Chertsey!!!! and he's still there. I'm waiting for a call to find out whether he is going back to the rehab unit today or not. Fingers crossed he is otherwise I'm going to have to drive all the way to Chertsey to see him! Feeling VERY stressed!

Good job I had this card waiting in the wings!

  1. This i s a fun and cute snowman card. Good to way to use up this little snowman decoupage! I am famous for putting small things away and then they get buried in the drawer. I like that you were able to use something that you had in stock for a while and make it look so fresh and cute!

I am slogging away at using up my stash and we must both have a giggle, as no matter how hard we try, we barely make a dent on the stash...eh?

Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.

  2. What a darling card Sue - he's a cheeky chappie :)

And your Roy is a naughty boy for trying to do too much too soon - but will they ever listen? Nope! Hope he's soon back in rehab and that he continues to improve.

    Hugs

A simply delightful snippets Christmas card!! Happy Rudolph Day! Hugs, Darnell

  8. Oh dear, on the fall & subsequent wounding. These men, just so hard-headed, all of them. I hope things will go well, and healing speeds right along. Your card is darling. Love the glitter edging (just like frosting!) on the red circle background behind this little cutie. Great way to use up some snippets and make a darling festive card. Big hugs, and hope all will go well for both of you. TFS

  9. What a cute card! Hope you don't have to trail to Chertsey, I find the Mad London Drivers start round about there so I try to steer clear of the area!

  11. I don't know why men think they are invincible. It's a shame there is that setback but hopefully they can stitch him up and send him back to rehab. I'm glad he finally got transferred so they can start his rehab. This is a darling card. I love that scallop mat and his cute nose and scarf. Try to relax and get rid of the stress. That is not good for you and you won't be good for him. Sending hugs.
