It is Less is More's 5th birthday! Where did the time go? The theme is white on white. I had an idea in my head that I wanted to make but somehow it morphed into something totally different and this is what I ended up with.
The corner die is a NBUS freebie with one of the Tattered Lace magazines. I have to say it was extremely fiddly to stick down ! I couldn't use a sticky sheet on the back as parts of the diecut lift up. Thank goodness for SU's fine tip glue. I cut the Happy Birthday twice, once in white and once in silver and layered them to give just a hint of silver showing.
I'm sorry my watermark is a bit big but I couldn't resize it today! It's the first time I've used my photo editing software since upgrading to Windows 10 and I don't think it's compatible! I'll have to have a play and see what I can do with it in slower time.
Well I have no idea what you had in your head but so glad it morphed into something different because I love, love, love this card.

White on white always looks so classy. I love that corner die and your water mark is white so hardly noticeable. I'm resisting all atempts by windows to stick 10 on my computer. I'm quite happy with windows 7. If it's not broke then don't fix it!! hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! I love the gorgeous corner die cut. xx
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with Kath's comment above xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's absolutely gorgeous, and actually the watermark could almost be part of the design, it looks as if the top of the corner spray finishes with one off-edge flower!

So pretty and elegant with such delicate die-cutting
ReplyDeletethanks for playing along in the birthday challenge this week at Less is More. Sarah x
Upgrading to Windows 10 has been a nightmare for us!! We use AOL and it was not compatible with 10. It took AOL 4 days to sort it out. I even lost my access and my blog! Anyway, your white on white card is fantastic. W on W is my all time fave design. Pretty flower dies. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Carol S.xxx
ReplyDeleteThis looks so pretty Sue, the die-cuts are so delicate looking!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
