I dug out some old Creative Expressions stamps that have been waiting to see ink! They must have been in my stash for three or four years! I also dug out a tent card blank that came from QVC. I've only got a few of these left, and they are all cream, which is a colour I don't usually use, but managed to find paper that had a creamy background to use from my stash as well.
I stamped the car in black archival and clear embossed it, then coloured it with Copics. Then I made a mask and inked the background with DI Antique linen and Pumice Stone to tone it in with the card.some linen thread and wooden candy added the finishing touches.
The fold shows up better in this view.
Super looking stepper card. Brilliant for a man. xxx
ReplyDeleteA super guyz card Due. I really like the vintage card image and really like the shape of the card. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteI love the card fold - I've seen cards like that before and tried to copy them but the card has always flopped, so thanks for the side on view that shows how it is constructed.
ReplyDeleteGlad I made you show that stamp some ink at last!

These antique roadsters always make a great 'guy' card. Love your rich dark red coloring on this sleek ride..and antiquing the background really makes the red show so well. Also love the background paper design, which complements the car, but lets it take center stage. Admire that fancy folding too! TFS & Hugs
