Seeing Stars!

I'm determined this year to enter a few more challenges. When Less is More first started I was a regular there, entering most weeks but just lately it has become very sporadic! So this week I have a card for it -yay! Mind you I made it on Monday and have only just found time to photograph and blog it.

The theme is "Dimennsion". I used embossing paste through a stencil and added a couple of embossed lines top and bottom to edge the panel. Then I added some colour by using a red copic on the stars. With hindsight I think I preferred it all white, but don't think it would have photograhed very well!
I'm also taking this to Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge where the key word is Stencil.

  1. It's beautiful. Isn't it frustrating that sometimes the effects we would really love to share are so difficult to photograph?

  2. Your card is lovely Sue. I think the red on the raised paste looks really good. I bet that took a while to do. Barbxx

  3. Great stenciling, Sue! Using embossing paste is a fab way to add dimension too (and score lines!) so I'd say you are rocking these challenges! Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers!

  5. Super stencilling with that embossing paste Sue. Your stars look so crisp (I always get a few smeary bits when I use the paste). The design is really super and the embossed lines add to that dimensional feel. Thanks so much for joining us at Less is More.....do hope we see you regularly this year :-)

  8. Beautiful, crisp and clean design and I love the effect of paste through stencils although I don't use it often enough. This is such a classy take on the challenge and thanks for playing along at HLS CAS challenge this month and Less is More last week. Sarah x

  9. Very CAS but lots of style & I like the red stars. Adding the score lines really enhanced the border design too. Good for you at entering some challenges. I'm still trying to dig out from under, and just keep up with commenting, emails, and getting ready for tax season! TFS & Hugs

I have so much to catch up on with you, I don't know why you are not coming up on Blogger, so will finish commenting on this one Sue but carry on seeing what I've missed. Hope all is well with you.
