Oh my gosh I'm really cutting it fine this month with my Rudolph Day card. The card has actually been made for ages but finding time to blog this last week has been difficult.
The die is Memory Box Glowing Candles cut from red Mirri card and mounted on a white shaped panel. I ran a Versamark pad round the edges and embossed them with sparkly red embossing powder. The whole image was then added to a piece of stripey vellum which I stuck down under the image, and small amounts of adhesive under the red stripes at the corners.
Brilliant design and love the colours. Great CAS card. Hugs, Carol S.xx

I adore these MB candles in that gorgeous red Sue, and they tone in perfectly with the vellum background. A beautiful card. x
ReplyDeleteYour card is stunning. What a brilliant indea to use the versamark to emboss the edges of the die cut panel.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in the Feb. Rudolph Days Challenge.
You're very brave to cut this particular image from Mirror card (I have the die and it can be fussy to die cut). Your efforts turned out so pretty & smooth. Love all the gleam from the c/s too. And it's particularly impressive set atop that wonderful striped paper. Just a beautiful card! Well done. TFS & Hugs
