I am so glad that spring seems to have arrived at last! The last few days have been lovely - the down side is that I am going to have to cut the grass!
But enough of that it is time for a new challenge at
Cardz 4 Guyz and it is my turn to choose the theme. I have gone with "In the Country", lots of choice there I hope.
I decide to dust off one of my Joanna Sheen CDs - Jayne Netley Mayhew and printed off this sweet picture of two mice stocking up for winter. I added some raffia and some leaves from my stash and mounted it all onto a side fold A2 kraft card blank.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you create, and as always there is more inspiration on the challenge blog.
Oh that is delightful. Love the image.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the lawn. Been WAAAAAAY easier this season . . . bought a cordless mower . . . WHY did it take me so long to get one?

Really fabulous image and love the addition of the leaf, this card certainly has a lovely country feel to it.

ReplyDeleteI love this image and the raffia goes perfectly. I gave the front lawn it's first haircut on Sunday. Off to find out about cordless mowers now!! Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card Sue. The image is so sweet and I love your embellishments. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteWhat an artist! Decorating her art for a card like this is stunning, Sue!! It's a lot of work, but I love the smell of a fresh-mown lawn! Hugs, Darnell
