LIM Teal

I know at the start of the year I said I was going to try and enter Less is More, more frequently. At first I did then fell by the wayside again!

This week there is a colour them and the ladies want "Mainly Teal".

I'm not sure whether this is  "cas"  enough, but I'm sure they will let me know if it isn't.

I used lots of bits out of the snippet box for this, in fact everything except the card blank. I think I made the little image when LIM had an ombre challenge a while back, then didn't use it.

  3. A wonderful use of teal tones here and your centre circle really pops with beautiful embossing and ombre colours. Please could I ask you to pop a link on your blog back to our challenge post at Less is More (I can't seem to find it) and do remember we like to see lots of yummy white, unpatterned space on our entries. Thanks for sharing with us this week.

  5. I know what you mean about falling by the wayside! I have a teal card partially made and will have to hurry to get it in this week! This is a perfect card for this challenge. I love the design inside the circle and how you made the slant. Very cool.

  6. Beautiful card and a great use of snippets! The centre scene is gorgeous. As Sarah says, a little more empty space would keep the card truly clean and simple for our CAS challenge, but it's a lovely creation and very striking. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

  7. Love the ombre look of your wee image. It looks so pretty against this dP. Also like the way you have displayed the sentiment.

  8. That central piece is so harmonious Sue! Truely delightful. Maybe if you had used the patterned paper where the white strip is, and cut the sentiment in white it would have looked more CAS, but it is a truely delightful card nonetheless. It's lovely to see you popping back to us at Less is More - hope to see you again next week! Xx

  12. It's gorgeous and even though your background is patterned , it has a restful and uncluttered look. I personally find it hard to fit into genres eg cas - it usually happens by accident and not when I'm trying!
