I cut out a stitched rectangle square from SU then stamped him in black and clear embossed him. I masked him off and stamped the bubbles in Versamark and embossed them in white. I sponged some Distress Oxides ink over the top. I coloured the little octopus with a pink Copic. The white and blue mats are both snippets so I'm off to the Playground to see what mischief everyone is up to.

A Little Octopus!
Those of you who read my blog on a regular basis will know that I am involved with the Octopus For a Preemie UK charity, (see the sidebar and HERE ) so when I sat his cute Lawn Fawn stamp I couldn't resist!

ReplyDeleteYou've made a darling snippets card, Sue! You did a brilliant job with sponging his ocean background and taking the time to stamp and emboss all his bubbles!! I love the matting, too! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteA super cute card and love the little Octopus. The Oxide background is lovely and I love the effects you can get with it and spraying water on it. Hugs, Carol S.xx
