light up poinsettia

At the recent HLS Craft Retreat Kylie showed us how to make light up cards. This is one of ones I made. I used the HLS Stamp Set Season of Joy.  The images were coloured with Zig Clean Brush pens. If I’d been at home I would probably have used Copics but hadn’t taken them with me.

The  light is behindthe centre of the poinsettia and comes on when the sentiment is pressed. I would like to enter this into the Addicted to Stamps &More challenge which is Anything Goes.

  1. You never quite know what to take to these retreats - it's fortunate that most crafters are happy to lend materials. Your card is lovely end your zig colouring's fab.

I'm just finishing off making all my card panels in to cards myself!

    Happy Thursday

  2. What a great idea, I've not seen a light up card before. Are the lights easy to buy?

  7. Love the clean style of this pretty card. Wowsers on the lights too...I'm seeing so many people using those Chibitronics things. Wonderful work with the zigs too. Glad you got to enjoy the HLS retreat. Thanks for your visit after I've been MIA so long. TFS & Hugs
