I have gone for a quick and easy card this time. The image is from a pad of LOTV designs - no longer available, which I mounted onto a scalloped circle of Cherry Cobbler card. I found some green ribbon that matched the image and added it to a strip of the red card placed under the image. A small diecut sentiment which was lurking in my bits box finished it off.

Rudolph Day - August
It's that time of the month when we make our cards for Rudolph Day It’s probably a first for me to actually have a card ready in advance and posting on the 25th!

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteHappy Rudolf Days.
What a very lovely card and that centre image is really great.
Love the wonderful colour choices and the effect of the pattern card together.
Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. DT
Very pretty card, Sue Teh red mat pops the image off the card and the piece of ribbon seems to ground it!
ReplyDeleteSam's cards are now up on my blog. The internet here is spotty. It has been windy and the internet seems to fade in and out...taking with it any undelivered emails. Sam's cards were added this morning!
Thanks for taking part in the August Rudolph Days Challenge.
I loved these LOTV paper pads and wish they reinstated them. Your card is so pretty and love the CAS style. Hugs, Carol S.xx
ReplyDeleteA super card Sue, love the CAS design and the image. I thought that the pad this image came from was one of their best Christmas pads.

ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with quick and simple when all your little details make such a classy card, like the textured card and all the elements. happy RD xxx
