I'm cutting it a bit fine for this month's Twofer challenge, but I've combined it with a new home card for my neighbour's daughter and family. They sold their house just before lockdown and were due to move into a new build, which of course went on hold, so their original 3 week stay with Dad has turned into 6 months. This is the card I have made for them ready for next week when they finally get into their new home.
My second card turned into a get well card for my stash. I did quite a bit of fussy cutting for this one.
The flower petals are actually pale pink although they look white in the photo.
And here they both are together.
The sun, clouds and flowers are from a Simon Says Stamp set and the house is from Stamping Up.
Two super cards Sue, one a great CAS and the other bright and beautiful colours and images.

I'm so happy for your neighbor's daughter and family to finally be able to move into their new home, Sue! It makes one wonder how many other stories of lives interrupted and changed forever are out there, even if they stayed safe from the virus. Your card is brilliantly CASlicious with all that wonderful white space around the pretty home and the happy sun! And your get well card is bound to cheer up anyone under the weather! The rainbow colors and every layer and element just exudes positive thoughts! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #30! Keep Well! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that family finally gets to move into their new home! That was quite the wait, COVID sure has reeked havoc on everyone, but some more than others. Your new house card is just darling Sue and will be much appreciated I'm sure! Your twofer is so cheerful, bright and happy! I love it! I can see that you definitely did a lot of fussy cutting on this one, but it was worth it. It will surely cheer someone who is under the weather. Hugs, Brenda
