My card making skills are decidely rusty after my break! It took me two days to make this card! I needed a birthday card for Roy's niece and although I have a few ready made ones, none seemed quite right.
Then I decided to make a Z fold card and it is years since I made one. It took forever to find a paper to go with the flowery pieces which came out of the snippets drawer. Eventually I found a 6x6 piece which was only just big enough to cut all the required pieces out of. The butterflies were cut from the Gummiapian die included in the Easter calendar. I painted them with H2Os, again not used in ages. I picked three colours and randomly dropped them onto the diecuts. They are quite sparkly in real life. A sentiment and some dots completed it.

I love this brilliant Z-fold card Sue. Great papers and pretty butterflies.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse for a snifter shortly! xxx
Wonderful card Sue - and what fun using the Twinkling H2O's - I need to dig mine out and have a play. Often to older goodies are still the best! Really happy to see you in the Playground, I hope that time is helping to ease the loss of Roy somewhat. That might sound trite but I hope you know what I mean.
