I haven’t done one of these challenges for quite some time and as Christmas is now well and truly out of the way I thought it was time to have another go! The challenge this week is “Predominantly Purple” – definitely not my colour of choice!!
But put my thinking cap on and this is what I came up with. I was also trying to showcase some of the new SU products at the same time!
I used Concord Crush cardstock as my base. The white card was dry embossed with polka dots then overstamped with the script stamp and flower from the new Charming stamp set. The sentiment is from Perfect Punches. I decided it definitely needed a butterfly and the only suitable one I had is from a retired set.
I love how you have used the little stamp to make the floral border to this card Sue. It looks great and I must admit I do like the butterfly.

Glad you liked it Mandi. Have had another go at removing WV - hope its worked this time! There's no way of doing it on the updated Blogger interface so had to switch back to old one!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully stamped card. Have never thought of dry embossing and then stamping over the top - that's another thing to go on my list of things to try this year! Hugs karen x
