The colour combo on the Dynamic Duos challenge this week is Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi. I neede to make a congratulations card for a friend so chose to use it for the challenge. It's a very quick and easy card to make. I used the Everything Eleanor stamp set ( as it was already on my desk!) The small flowers are single layered and the larger one decoupaged to make it stand out. I seem to be short on stamps that say "congratulations" other than very small ones - so used the only other one I've got from the Perfect Punches set. I must remedy this shortfall on my next order!!!

Less is More - Week 49
I haven’t done one of these challenges for quite some time and as Christmas is now well and truly out of the way I thought it was time to have another go! The challenge this week is “Predominantly Purple” – definitely not my colour of choice!!
But put my thinking cap on and this is what I came up with. I was also trying to showcase some of the new SU products at the same time!
I used Concord Crush cardstock as my base. The white card was dry embossed with polka dots then overstamped with the script stamp and flower from the new Charming stamp set. The sentiment is from Perfect Punches. I decided it definitely needed a butterfly and the only suitable one I had is from a retired set.

Gosh I don't know where the time has gone as it is over a month since I blogged. All I can say is I've been busy!! This is a card I made from one of the Countdown to Christmas projects from Lee Conrey. I used Old Olive DSP, Whisper White cardstock, Polar Party and Perfect Punches stamp sets and old olive and real red markers. The circle was cut with a nestie and the embossing folder was my own as SU don't do a snowflake one over here.
