Boutique Boxes

I bought this kit much earlier and only made one box so was looking for a way to use it up. I started with a scrapbook page which I CASed from Pinterest here. And here's my version.

The page used some card from my stash (non SU) and the letters were cut using a Sizzix alphabet set (again non SU).

Then I made a card using some of the leftover pieces and the Summer Starfruit card I'd cut the letters out of. I spritzed some Sahara Sand and Basic Grey onto the card base which looks quite effective in real life but I think in the photo it looks as if I've just made it dirty!!

And it just happened that it fits with the sletch at CASe this Sketch - only just managed to sneak in before it closes though!  And as it was some leftover pieces i'm going to hop across for a turn on the swings at Pixie's playground as well.

  4. Good job on the scrapbook page and the card, Sue! From my monitor, I think the spots are effective; it doesn't look dirty at all!!

  5. This is a great use of leftovers! The spritzing gives it a vintage look. Not dirty at all.
