Rudolph day

I'm just squeezing in again at the last minute to Sarn's Rudolph Day challenge.
I don't know why I'm so late as I made the cards at the same time as last month's! Anyway here they  are:

I 'm not sure about the sequins though - it started off with one to hide a smudge then added some more to balance it but I don't like the top one - however the glue seems to be super strength and that sequin is not going to move!! The good thing about these cards though is that I finally managed to use some Christmas paper that I bought years ago and have never managed to use it as it never looked quite right.

  2. I think the sequins look great. I find the random placement is harder to do than I would have expected. I think yours look random and lovely!

Great use of your snippets as you have made two lovely cards for Rudolph Day!.

The sequins look great on both cards if you ask me! LOVING that gorgeous NOEL stamp and the use of festive papers.

  4. Two gorgeous cards, I love wording but I find them so very hard to do, you have made a fabulous job of them and even better that you have found a use for that paper.

  8. Hi Sue

I think those papers were just sitting waiting to be used on these lovely creations.

Love word stamps and paper piecing so a winning combination in my eyes!

    Loving the sequins too!

I hope you had a good weekend.

    Love Jules xx

  9. Sequins work so perfectly to hiding smudges! I think they look perfectly placed and I think you were saving that paper for these cards. They couldn't be more perfect!

  10. Well, gosh darn it, Sue, I'm sorry I didn't start my second NBUS Challenge on August 29th! Your cards would be perfect; they ARE perfect!! I like the sequins. Just snip that top one off even with the top of the card and it'll look great. I see famous card artists doing that and putting them half-way under their image panels, so I'm pretty sure it will work okay. And now you can do my challenge and be further along with your stash!! Hugs, Darnell
