Still on a bit of a rollercoaster ride. On Saturday Roy's temperature had soared again and he was very muddled and incoherent. Yesterday was better, his temperature had dropped and he was able to speak coherently. Today the hospital had got him out of bed to sit in a chair for a while - although he cannot stand by himself yet - but it must have tired him out as he slept for the whole hour and a half that Fiona and I were there. She has gone home now so I'll be on my own tomorrow - think I'll take a book just in case he's asleep again.
This must be so hard and worrying for you Sue. Don't know where you are, just hope you have plenty of friends to be with. I am in West Sussex. Hugs, Carol S.xx
ReplyDeleteThese ups and downs are hard on you both. Know that you are in my prayers and thoughts and I'm sending hugs to lift you up. I hope you start having more ups and fewer downs now and he is getting better.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about Roy I am keeping you in my thoughts.

Oh, Sue, I'm so sorry to read what you have been through. I've been bad about getting around to blogs! I'm glad they have found the cause and that he is responding to treatment. It's probably going to be a long recovery. You'll need lots of crafting therapy! Hugs and prayers.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how worrying this must be for you and Roy. Sounds like he's a trooper though, so I'm hoping he'll pull through and make a good recovery.
ReplyDeleteWill be thinking of you Sue.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
