I recently won a super die over at Pixies Snippets Playground and this is my first make using it.
I used up a card blank that had been sitting on my desk since doing a SU workshop some months ago. So it was good to find a use for it at last! The papers are SU as well as is the butterfly stamp. Although it doesn't show up in the photo, the butterflies are very sparkly having had Wink of Stella liberally applied.
My LIM one layer card here has been made into two layers.
Although it doesn't look much different in the photo IRL I much prefer it!
Well done Sue, with both cards! I 'm delighted you used the die so fast, it's a fun one isn't it!

ReplyDeleteFabulous card using your Playground prize. Love the design.
ReplyDeleteYour LIM card looks perfect in one or two layers, but I think if I had to choose, I'd go with the layered one too. :-) xx
Fabulous die you have put your prize to good use, both cards are really beautiful

Congratulations on your great win at the Playground, and you've made wonderful use of it, with this pretty cart. Love the way it cuts out the inner part with the bold sentiment, and what lovely colors you've picked to show it off so nicely. Also loving the soft look of the hexagon arrangement. That is a really pretty CAS look as well, with the pastel palette that you've used. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs

ReplyDeleteI love the way that die cut made a cutaway front! Awesome! And I usually end up making a one layer card into more layers. Very nice!
