We are 100!

Well not literally, but we are at our 100th challenge at Make My Monday. A big thank you to everyone who has joined in and made the challenge a success. To that end we would like to see your thank you cards  this time.

I have used a die that I won ages ago at Pixies Playground, but I'm afraid I can't remember the make. I cut it out of white card mounted onto navy. The paper is a sheet from my over large stock of 6 x 6 papers. So it is now one sheet less! Do pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the DTs thank you cards, and hope to see you joining in.

Thank you!

The lovely Darnell has taken the fantastic initiative of organising a blog hop to thank Di who recently celebrated her SEVENTH anniversary as Headmistress of Pixie's Playground, having taken over the beginning of 2012 from the lovely Jules! That's an enormous accomplishment! Not only that, but in addition to the linky for each challenge, Di also offers a generous prize out-of-pocket!

I have managed to produce a card - in between sneezes, using a die that I won in the Playground.

Not a very good photo I'm afraid. The light is not very good as it is currently snowing again. It wasn't much fun having to go out first thing this morning in it either, but had no choice as Roy had a hospital appointment to see about cataract surgery, and didn't want to put it off. The main roads were OK but our little close wasn't!

Thank You Di!

I recently won a super die over at Pixies Snippets Playground and this is my first make using it.

I used up a card blank that had been sitting on my desk since doing a SU workshop some months ago. So it was good to find a use for it at last! The papers are SU as well as is the butterfly stamp. Although it doesn't show up in the photo, the butterflies are very sparkly having had Wink of Stella liberally applied.

My LIM one layer card here has been made into two layers.

Although it doesn't look much different in the photo IRL I much prefer it!
