I used a SU set of stamps and dies which have only recently been unwrapped and inked. I stamped the pretty swirl twice, once in silver and once in Coastal Cabana. Then diecut a star from the middle of the card. I overstamped the diecut with the star and stuck it to the inside of the card. It looks really pretty in real life but has been a nightmare to photo!
Hope to see you joining in with us, and do check out all the rest of the team's makes.

ReplyDeleteLovely card Sue. I really like the stamped background. It creates a lovely detail behind the focal point. Love Dawn x
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea to die cut the aperture and stick the positive inside! Love your gorgeous star card Sue!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Sue. I so love those whispy swirls of stars. The stamped star in the middle of the aperture looks wonderful, and the sentiment is wonderful and so perfect for this challenge.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a Polar Star against the background of the Milky Way :-) Great composition and very beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!
ReplyDeleteI keep saying I'm going to try that technique with the stamp below the cut-out but never do. Thanks for the inspiration, Sue. The flourishes add great movement and draw the eye to the star.
