My first card is a one layer card with the stamp, from HeroArts, and the sentiment, simply stamped in black and clear embossed.
My second card is a bit brighter. I stamped randomly in two shades of yellow along the bottom of a panel of card. The sentiment, from Uniko is in Soft Suede and the butterflies were cut out of a piece of cardwhere I had been playing with brushos.
And here they are together.
I'll be back on Tuesday with my card for Cardz 4 Guyz.
Two gorgeous cards. You have used that stamp to make two totally different cards perfectly. I do believe I have a stamp that may well fit Darnell's challenge so off to have a hunt for it. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteWould you believe it I have the same stamp and I was so sure it I had a Penny Black. Now I really do have my work cut out!! Off to the drawing board. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Sue and a lovely stamp. Hugs, Carol S.xx
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you aren't mad at me for enabling you, Sue! I have had that stamp for ages and used it many, many times - especially for guy cards - so it will be a worthwhile investment for you! You've sure used it beautifully here with your two designs! It always looks amazing as a black silhouette and I really love how it looks in the two shades of yellow! You've given your thank you card a lot of texture and interest with your card base, matting, twine, and stunning butterflies!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #10! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteTwo fabbylicious cards for the TWOFER challenge, Sue, you've rocked it!

Wow Sue, I love both of your twofer's! Since my late husband was a farmer, I always love anything to do with crops and wheat was my favorite crop he sowed. So I am totally crushing on this wheat stamp you used and will have to look for it. Both cards are fabulous and I love them but the second one is my favorite as I love the traditional look of the wheat colors with the butterflies fluttering about the field of wheat. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards, Sue. I love the simplicity of your first card and the scene you've created on your second card is just beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful CAS cards, Sue ! This wheat stamp is really beautiful and I love the two cards you’ve made with it. Thanks so much for inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing, Sue - sometimes I just "have to" run out and buy new stamps for a challenge I want to play in, lol! And this stamp was so worth it. It's become a lovely sympathy card, and I love that it's a one-layer card, too. Your second card looks so pretty. Love the inks you've chosen, and that you've got a couple of sweet butterflies fluttering above your wheat field. Thanks for joining us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your Honorable Mention, Sue! Enjoy your weekend!! ❤Hugs, Darnell
