It's time for the first of the
HLS August challenges.
I got out my Distress Oxides and a NBUS stamp set from Altenew. I smooshed the colours on a craft mat, then picked them up on some watercolour card. They came out a little bit too light so added some depth with a sponge.
I stamped the jellyfish in black for the outline and two shaded of blue. The bubbles are from another NBUS set from Lawn Fawn. I edged the watercolour panel with a blue pen before mounting on blue card. Please go and check out all the rest of the makes from the DT.
Lovely card, great colours.

Beautiful background for these delicate jellyfish! The bubbles add a fun detail. And good work inking up some NBUS stamps!

ReplyDeleteSuper simple and fabulous ocean scene Susan. Great sentiment.
ReplyDeleteYour underwater scene is amazing. I love these majestic jellyfish. Layered stamping gave multidimensionality to these water creatures. Beautiful card.

I love how your water color shading resembles the sun shining down through the water below! Super cool and calming card with great images for a relaxing mood!
