CAS Mix Up has a stencil challenge this month. I decided to join in as although I have a lot of stencils I rarely use them, so ir's maybe time to change that.
They are asking for stencil outlining.I found this stencil of leaves, (no idea of the make, but its blue and quite flimsy) and inked it with Distress Oxides, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade. I outlined with a Chocolate Chip marker and also ran it down the edge of the panel. The sentiment is from Pinkfresh.
Simples but oh so classy.hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteA super stencil and a great choice of colours, great placement with the sentiment.

I LOVE this card, Sue! It's simple yet has a wow factor! Love how you've colored the leaves and the outline really makes them stand out! A perfect bold sentiment fits perfectly! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased, Sue that you joined us at CAS Mix Up Stencil Tracing Challenge. Your traced stenciled leaves turned out beautifully. I think it is a STAMPlorations "Leaf Prints" stencil. I often use Pixie Spray (low tack adhesive) on stencils to hold them down if tracing, watercoloring or color blending. It works great. Wash your stencil with cold water and the adhesive comes right off:-) Hugs..Nancy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Sue! Those leaves look beautiful with the outlining. I do like the slimline size of card. The stencil (I believe) is from STAMPlorations. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
