Silhouette for Twofer

I'm cutting it a bit fine for this month's Twofer challenge. I think of it as a monthly challenge but of course it's only two weeks!  Anyway I dug out a stamp that was one of the first ones I ever bought and haven't really used it since!  I hope it counts as a silhouette.

For the first card I stamped it three times without reinking, The sentiment is from Penny Black.. I've no idea who made the rose stamp as I've long since peeled it off its wood mount.

The second card is just a single image with some spots from a very useful little stamp from Lavinia stamps . Makes splattering a whole lot easier!

And here are my two cards together. Hope they count as they are both simply stamped.

  2. They count just fine, Sue, as it's the design layout (where you place the prompt element and sediment) that needs to be different, not the style or technique. That's a very evocative rose depending on how much (and what color) ink it's wearing and it's made both a beautiful birthday card and a beautiful note card with great schplatters! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #32! I hope you are keeping well! Hugs, Darnell

  3. Simply stamped is perfect, Sue ... you've used this delicate rose so differently for each design! It's lovely as a trio on your birthday card with that sweet sentiment ... and with the delicate halo of dots around the bloom, it's kind of dreamy on your just a note card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)

  4. Two lovely cards, Sue! You really got a great variation in the color from stamping it three times in your pink ink, and that sentiment is so perfect with the trio of roses. So nice to have a spatter stamp to help that process, and it looks great with your rose on your note card! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
